Yes, let’s make those movies, let’s tell our stories, but let’s be GOOD at it. Watch a Nancy Meyers movie and then watch The Hurt Locker. They are not at the same level, and I’m not even talking about the story or subject matter, I’m talking about what they look like, how they flow, how they are set up. It’s not the same.

Also, almost all the fiction I write is from the male perspective. I am in my own very female brain and life all damn day, when I write, I want to go somewhere else.

I don’t think that you understand that vegan men get more than enough shit from the omni community, particularly other men. It would be nice if our sisters could be solid with us rather than telling us that we are stinking up their yoga classes. Regardless of how you feel about it, veganism and vegetarianism are perceived by many omnis as feminine, so vegan men are already fighting not only the typical anti-veg rhetoric, but get alot of comments about tofu, estrogen, etc… could we not get more of the same from a vegan blog of all places? I had a dream last night that Coming And Crying came in the mail and my copy was instead titled “Bang And Blame.” And I thought, “Wait just a second… That’s… not… right…” And then, thankfully, before there could be more stuff in there to analyze fearfully, I woke up. I couldn’t find my ID. Your ID is your ticket to life here, and I live in a new dorm, so my ID also unlocks the to door to my room. I usually leave it in the same place, but I couldn’t find it. I looked in the pockets of my jeans and in the pockets of my coat, thinking how did it walk out of here? I often wake up in the middle of the night thinking someone’s broken into my room and thought that maybe it had happened and someone had stolen my ID (but left my iPhone and laptop? Maybe that person really wanted to borrow library books and eat meals in the dining halls. An extremely intellectual and hungry thief). Finally found it, in the same place I usually left it, but underneath a book I had been reading. Crisis averted.

We had to do a 4 panel comic for creative writing this week and I totes cheated and used Comic Life. But at least I used my own photos. Right? It’s a sad comic about a boy and none of you will ever see it!

Until I show it to you drunkenly. If you ask nicely.
