I saw Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist this weekend. I didn’t read the book, so I don’t have the connection to it or the anger over Michael Cera being cast as Nick or any of the other nerdy problems that occur when books are turned into movies. I do have a problem with Kat Dennings being cast as an “ugly girl”, especially when her rival in the movie looks so bad that it makes me think that the stylists hated her or the editors hated her. It got to the point where we were cringing whenever she came on screen. She is a 22 year old girl who I’m sure is lovely in person, why must they cover her up with so much makeup?

Of course, all the pictures I can find of her online have her looking amazing but I’m curious to see if anone else felt the same way.
