Friday
- Hungover from my STOP AIDS happy hour at the best lesbian bar ever, Wild Side West, missed ROFLthing but got up to the minute updates via meganallison
- Eavesdropped on housemate’s date, when he left (date didn’t go well) we got down to reality shows business and watched the premiere of Real Housewives of Atlanta and the Cho Show. Two thoughts: Cho Show is very clearly staged and is awkward, not like the fun oddness of My Life On The D-List (w/ fellow gay favorite Kathy Griffin) or even Pam Anderson’s new show, Girl On The Loose.
- Real Housewives of Atlanta…amazing in every way. This may warrant a separate post. I am such a homosexual man. I’m surprised I don’t have a dick in my mouth right now (or do I…?!)
Saturday
- Spent lovely evening having girl talk and take out dinner w/ Meave
- Met up with Ben, Laura & Jonas to say goodbye to Ben before he goes to DC and becomes important. This bar we went to was a fucking trainwreck, like the worst fucking college party you have ever been to complete with really horrible “mashups”. They have skeeball, however and something called “chicken fried bacon”. I would like to return sometime in the middle of the day.
Sunday
- Apparently, I had some sort of fixation with r & b from the 90s and vomited it out onto Tumblr.
- Made myself a bomb ass dinner: garlic pork chops w/ corn on the cob and oven fries and PBR w/ a twist of lemon (a trick I picked up a while back, it makes it taste a bit less like cold urine).
- TV: Gossip Girl series finale re-run, a few inadvertent hours of the CW, Mad Men, Law & Order.
Today!
- Dressed up like Blair for my Gossip Girl viewing party — black skirt, pink and green argyle sweater, black pearls, headband, fishnets.
- Stuffed myself silly full of vegan tacos, plaintains, some tater tots and wine. Oh and some lemon cake courtesy of M & J. Yummm.
- Actually worked on some video stuff and when I am not dying of embarassment, I’ll post it here.
Glad I had really mellow weekend full of good feeling and chats with some of my favorite people because I have a feeling this week will be a doozy.
